Ten years, y’all! And I just hit 10,000 followers on Twitter, too.
So ten years actually came and went back in January, but I still wanted to mark the occasion. Here are a few fun facts:
-
- Since 2010, when I started using Google Analytics, I’ve had more than 2 million pageviews. Theoretically, every person in the Greater Cincinnati metro area has viewed the page once (but really, it’s mostly me refreshing on comments in the early days).
- My first review: Sung Bistro (now closed)

- Most controversial post: Review: Local 127 (First Impressions) Y’all hated me, yo.

Thank you to everyone who has joined me in these past ten years. I’ve made some wonderful friends (and probably a few enemies), had some life-changing experiences, and kind of “grew up” with the Cincinnati food scene — when I started writing, OTR hadn’t yet become popular, and we didn’t have the same kind of influx of amazing food that we have now. It’s been fun to watch and try, in my own small way, to boost the amazing talent we have in our area.
Here’s to ten more years. Will they look the same as the last ten? Doubtful! In fact– it’s getting a little more personal. But I hope you’ll stay with me.
