I love sushi, and I love what the guys at Fusian have been doing — making sushi approachable.  I love Dan Wright and his restaurants, and I also love the Freestore Food Bank and their mission to help the hungry in the Tri-State area.

Put all three together, and I’m a happy lady (and you should be, too).

Dan Wright and Fusian put together a custom sushi roll– beet-cured salmon, miso cream cheese, green onion, avocado and jalapeno in a soy wrap, topped with sweet soy and everything bagel spice– and $1 of each of the rolls will go to the Freestore.

The FUSIAN X Dan Wright Roll is delicious, by the way — think of a “bagel roll” but a bit more refined.  I’ve had it three times!

    seaweed wrap, brown rice, tuna, cream cheese, avocado, green onion, cucumber, jalapeno, with sweet soy and spicy mayo, crunch, and crab stick. low-maintenance.

    I’m pretty sure I would eat any sushi roll in front of me, but I am a favorite of bbq eel and volcano rolls!

    My go-to is a tofu roll, inside out, with lots of carrots, green onions, and sometimes the veggie of the month (sweet potato is still my favorite). Then, I top it with sesame seeds, sweet soy, and Sriracha.
