Cocktail Hour Extra: Tuscan Summer from Great American Ball Park

In addition to Terry’s post about the Suite Menu at Great American Ballpark, there were also cocktails! I got the recipe from Michael at the Reds and the folks at Food Network. I’m going to shake one of these up tonight. It involves three of my favorite summertime flavors: herbaceous gin, sweet limoncello and bitter Campari, lightened up with orange juice and seltzer.

Tuscan Summer

Ingredients For 1:
1 oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
¾ oz Limoncello
¾ oz  Campari
1 oz Orange Juice
1 oz seltzer

Ingredients for pitcher:

12 oz Bombay Sapphire Gin

9 oz limoncello

9 oz Campari

12 oz Orange Juice

12 oz seltzer

Garnish:
Slice of orange

Recipe For 1:
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice add 1st 4 ingredients, shake vigorously and strain into glass filled with ice. Top with seltzer and garnish.

Recipe For Pitcher:
In a large pitcher filled with ice add 1st 4 ingredients, stir well. Pour into glass filled with ice. Top with seltzer and garnish.
